IC, it's not what you are requesting per se that makes others angry or shocked, it's the
way you are requesting it.
Instead of wording it the way you did, why not word it like this?
i) Is there any chance you could release this with an alternate horn? I'm having problems when I try to switch it with another kind (the ARN doesn't work properly).
If you do it like this, you don't sound demanding, unappreciative or picky. Instead, it allows you to make a request in a polite manner and as a benefit, it also allows other people to see your problem and hopefully point out a solution! ^^
Content creators spend hours upon hours upon hours making these things and I think it's only fair to treat them with the respect they deserve. Constructive comments are usually welcomed by most creators too, so long as they are constructive. It's just about the wording but it's so important!
Many members here on the forums are
more than happy to help out someone having problems so long as they are humble, patient and polite about it.
As for your particular problem, I've never heard of that particular instance. Switching out horns as far as I know has no impact whatsoever on the ARN. Are you switching out the right KUID and replacing it with the right KUID?
Hope your problem can be fixed.
BTW, the loco looks amazing Frank. You are truly one of the best when it comes to making and skinning locos in this simulator! Thanks for all the hard work you've done (and hopefully will continue to do :hehe: ).

Gisa ^^
p.s. did you finish the KCS SD40-2 ready yet or are you going to make this a double feature for the KCS/trainzers out there?
