The ZA Postal Service released a set of 10 postage stamps celebrating 150 years of the SA Railways. The artworks are by Hein Botha, the complete set sells for ZAR 24.00 ( USD 3.00 ). The collection begins with the Natal 0-4-0, the first locomotive in SA witch was build in Leeds, UK. There is also the NGG 16 and GMA/M Beyer-Garrat's, some Class 24 and Class 25 Condensing Locomotives including # 3450 better known as "Red Devel". There is the Class 35 Diesel-Electric witch was the replacements for the old Steamers. You also get the Class 9E 50KV, serving the Sishen to Saldanha Line and the Class 19E Dual Voltage witch transports coal from the Witbank Coalfields to my hometown of Richards Bay from where it is exported. The last in the collection is the newest Gautrain Electrostar, running on European SG, specially build for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
