Back when I still had my copy of TRS 2006, I downlaoded the SAR T class steam locomotive and tender (refer to my previous posting 'choking on my T'), but found when I got home to get it into the CMP and on to the TRS itself, I got the tender, but for some reason, the locomotive itself was not coming up for use....I was sure that I had double sure....that I had checked to make sure... I had downloaded all of the dependencies for it, but when I went to use it... the only part of it that came up in surveyor was the tender... no locomotive at all... and I began to wonder what I had missed... I went back to download the T and all of its dependencies again, went home, tried it in surveyor... still no locomotive... Oh! I have still missed something!...So! what have I missed?... is there another item in the download station somewhere like a superscript file that goes with the locomotive part of the SAR T class? there must be... Is that the AJS superscript where you see the pullman coach as an illustration?... could I be missing something like that?.... I did make sure I got the enginespec, and all those items... which are in the dependency list, but for some reason... The SAR T, still would not come up in surveyor... that has me rather pazzled...
We used to have these things running on our narrow gauge track near the farm where I used to catch the school bus, and remember them well...
The SAR T's went out of use here on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula line around the mid 60's, and the last one of these I saw was standing in the Edililie siding, near Cummins, just after Christmas in 1067...
Could Rob Shaw do a 4 wheel grey van, used by the SAR... I don't recall what clase they would have been... they and the 4 wheel OBF were also used here but our OBF's had a green tarp and had the red drop down or hinged door on either side of them similar to the OB, but they were of the 4 wheel varietyl,.. There was also a SAR 4 W sheep van similar to the LARS sheep ven here in the DLS that were often used on the EP.
I see there isi also a 75 class brill car in the dLS.... could someone like Rob Shaw do a 55, which is exactly the same shape as the 75,m but in bottle green and cream?....with the diagonal green and cream stripes on the front of it, we used to have the SAR 55 class railcars running down the Eyre Peninsula too back in the 60's
