Something I thought of a day or two ago

I was running over ideas in my head and figured I'd let some other Trainzers say what they think of them. My first idea was somewhat different and even i was a bit suprised that I thought of this.
Idea #1: More GE engines, from the U8B all the way to the C44-9W.
Idea #2: More Alco diesels--there can never be too many!

Question #1: What would you like to see get made in Trainz that isn't there yet or needs to be made in a freeware version? Post here and lets see what we can come up with!

I like to see some really decent older diesels. Alcos RS1, 2 and 3, RSD12, C420, 425 and 430, 628, and some GE UBoats, any of the 18, 23 25, 28, 30, 33, 36 variants would be good to see. A Baldwin DRS would be nice as well.

The motto is: You can never, EVER have enough LNER tank engines. :hehe:

And I concur with an American version. You can never, EVER have too many Alcos OR GEs around.:hehe: I personally would like to see a lot more Baldwins around. Where's those S12 switchers??? And the AS-616 too?

I like the way you think haddock.

On a unrelated note i'm scared for my life in this thunderstorm. :/

Thanks Antwerp. Storms kinda make me more uncomfortable than scared. But the older diesels always had more attraction than others. They just have a lot of personality and they're tougher than the new ones. And you can never have too many early EMDs around with that 567 prime mover. Ozark Mountain Railcar has an MLW Alco RS18U for sale. It's a real neat engine.

I honestly wish there was more IHRC alcos on thDLS or 3rd party but only 1 has been made. I agree with you on the uncomfortable but you were probably not in a tornado warning for 45 minutes to an hour. :P

Been in a watch and one warning, but not an hour long one. I would really like to see a few C628s and other Century line locomotives. And some more Fairbanks-Morse too. Those are some really neat diesels.

There's already a K4 made by Bill Kleine (wkdgansk). Apparently there will also be a I1-sa 2-10-0 sometime soon as well.

Yeah I know bills me and stevelerro's partner @ k&l trainz, we have made the PRR k4, a5, and the work in progress l1s, and later Down the road there will be a i1sa, and Stevelerro and bill (wkdandsk) made the k4 together, lol

As long as the fairbanks morse is in Wabash colors.

When I finish building the new K&L Trainz website, it has a 'projects' page that shows a chunk of Bill & I's plans for 3D takeover of the world lol. The I1sa is just the tip!

The locomotive I really want to see is a 4-8-4 Northern. I'm referring to the Northerns other then the GS-2, GS-4, J Class and the UP FEF (would like seeing a newer version, though) which would included the ones that the NP, GN, and SP&S had and whatever other railroad had them.

Talking Northerns and such I hope I'd be able to find the GN S-1 and S-2 4-8-4s. And as long as those Fairbanks-Morse diesels come in a good array of paint schemes, I think everyone will find their own favorite. The DLS is in need of some updated E8/9 A- and B-units, especially when it comes to SP diesels. And Steve, I have no doubt you guys are going to be building some killer steam engines.:udrool: I'm not that skilled with Gmax or 3Ds at all. I think there's more than a few of us who would like to see more of those Cascade Green engines out on the DLS. There is a BN U30C somewhere there but it needs some major updating.

And whoever does build some of these Alco and GE engines like the B23-7 and C30-7 better put them in the SP 'Bloody Nose' gray and red scheme. I do like my SP engines, and BN too.

If anyone makes B23-7s Please make a BQ23-7. I know they are not the most popular engine but I have always wanted one in trainz. I don't have the software to do it myself either.
