This is probably already obvious, but,
I have seen people complaining about content that doesnt work in the newer versions of Trainz. I downloaded a locomotive a while ago that didn't work in 2009. I did find a way to make it work.
The locomotive I downloaded didn't have a working interior, no big deal
? I installed it into the game and I could release the brake in cab mode, but I couldn't increase the regulator to make the train move.
I used DCC for a while, about 30 minutes, until I got bored of it
. So I emailed the creator. He said it was probably something to do with the engine specs. I went into CCP, thought for about a second, and I didn't change the engine specs, I still dunno why . I changed the interior instead to something I knew that worked, scotsman interior, then....
It worked!
To my amazement!:hehe:
This is a discovery for me, and maybe for others too.
So, if you have problems with locos, change the interior!:Y:
