Working ARN fore and aft, so you get 76 units worth of purple goodness...... Working Mars light, details that I normally put in (Fan plates, new side grills), Extra spiffy parts courtesy of Simulatortrain....

Oh, and because it took so long...... F3A units also.

Very Soon..... Matching F3 and F7 B units to follow.

Why are you and willH doing the same thing?

Actually, I have been working on these for about a year........

EDIT: Also, if you noticed, he was doing the as delivered scheme, the one I did is the post 1960 repaint that used the bigger font.....

Additionally, #323 is a Phase 4 F3A..........The ones I did were the F7As... so what the heck, I did the F3As too.

I'm sorry to have confused you, it all stems from a different pronunciation of the word in different parts of the world.

So sorry that neither one checked the super secret content creator section for the "Things to be made for trains" list..... otherwise they would have seen that I was working on this too.

Seriously? Creators aren't allowed to work on the same thing??? Jointed Rail made C40-8's. Why did they do that??? Sporbust already had Dash-8's. Why did Mchawkman make SW1500s when JoshEH did the same thing? Why did btvfd do Conrail switchers when I did too?

Ironically, if you look in Will's thread about these, you'll see that his and mine were actually the same running number, and his thread (which only was 3-4 days old) showed his (some problems), mine (some problems), and Chris's nearly complete. Chris's has working a Mars light and ARN, but perhaps he should have abandoned that because Will and I already were working on it?

When more than one person work on something, we get more variety. While some people may like btvfd's version of a SW1500 better than mine, others may like my version better. I may have different weathering on it than what Jim did, and odds are, I will have a different road number. I'm sure many people will have a use for both.

Or maybe this was yet another one of those comments "We've got too many creators in Trainz.....see there are so many that people have to make the same things." Maybe one or two (or all of us) should just give it up. Leave it to you guys to just make what you want for your own install of the game?

It is amazing how the pendulum swings in this game and on these forums. "Gimme gimme gimme" on one end to "Why are you doing that?" on the other.

Different Strokes for different folks......

Scott said what I was thinking........

Many times a railroad has many different schemes ..... It's a big wide program out here.........no one owns a certain model of scheme....

Heck, Scot and wil, if you want drop me a PM, I will send you my PSD so you can see how I did the stripes, I can even share the secret of how I got the Marrs light and ARN to work.... :)

That as-delivered scheme still needs done... :)
