Andre,

Nice nice start to your route. There's a Screenshots forum where you can actually post your pictures to. You still need to host them elsewhere, but you can have larger-sized pictures there.

Some hints you might like... To hide the red and green arrows while driving, press CTRL+ H while in Driver. This will make the screen shots look nicer so you don't have the red and green alien ships on the side of the track. Pressing CTRL+ H brings them back, and while in the cab, you can press CTRL+ J to switch the tracks. This can be a bit tricky with a lot of crossovers and junctions though. For this I'll sneak out to the map to change the route if needed.

Signals... There are as you have probably found out already, a gazillion different signals up on the Download Station. There are some really nice looking Searchlight signals that work pretty nicely and are pretty much a direct replacement for the often too bright built-in ones.

I don't know what you use for switch levers, but the first thing I did was to look for an alternate to the huge red levers that are the default. For sidings I use either yard switch levers and the tall switch levers. For the main line, I use automatic (electric) swith motors. There are some pretty nice ones built-in as well as up on the DLS to use.

Anyhow, great job.

How do you change which levers are used? I've been wondering about it...

Depending upon the version of Trainz used, it's either a manual method or an automatic method.

TS2009 has the replace asset tool located under the File menue in Surveyor. I've used this numerous times for various asset. Open up the Track or Scenery objects, and drag into the right side the new object you want to replace with. Click on your current object using the select object. This will now appear in the object list, and drag that to the left. Click on replace and you have your new objects instead of the old. This works for textures (a bit tricky), scenery objects, tracks, signals, switch levers, and splines. It does *NOT* work with bridges or tunnels, or interactive industries because they are considered bridges.

If you're using TRS2006, you need to do this manually, which means choosing your asset from the list, finding the one on the tracks where you want to change it, delete the old one and replace it with the new. The alternative is to use an external program called TrainzMap, which has this ability also. The replacement is done through pull down menus and the asset name, there's no interactive view like TS2009.

TRS2004 is a different matter. Like TRS2006, you can use TrainzMap, or Trainz Objectz to replace the items. I never use TO for this so I can't give you any details. There is of course the manual method which of course works well if you want to do this through a painstakingly slow process.
