Signals again

I noticed that there a bunch of updates to norfolksouthern's searchlight and safetrans signals in the DLS.

My question is; is there anywhere some sort of tutorial or dicumentation for setting up and configuring his signals? The only reasonable signals tutorial I've ever found is the one on the ocatch website. That one is good, but very little of it can be applied to the scripted signals available these days.

It's something I've pondered over, but overall JR's signals are pretty intuitive. Restrictive 04s, permissive 05s, diverging 06s, and their respective "head", "gantry" and "left" versions. I've stuck to 0catch principles on rather complex trackwork and with some fiddling the AI will take it just fine.

I guess they're intuitive if you know more about signals than I do. I have no idea what the 06 distant and 08 interlocking signals are supposed to do; never mind how to configure them.
