Signaling for a yard or branch?

I'm beginning to signal my route and I've encountered a trouble point. I have many branches off the main line that run under yard limit rules, but my main line is signaled. Is there some kind of special signal to put at the beginning of these branches so that the last signal before the branch displays the correct aspect? IE Not Red as it does by default, or even yellow if I add the end of track red flag thing.

Same problem arises in yards. If the turnouts lead to a double ended track where the switch is closed at the far end, the last signal will display a red aspect.

There must be a way around this. I'm really trying to do this so AI doesn't get confused as well as people who will eventually run this route.

I think I may have figured it out. I tried using the invisible signals in strategic locations and so far it seems to be working. It'd be nice though, if there was say a sign that said "end of signaled territory" that could be placed right next to the final signal and scripted as if it were an invisible signal itself, if that makes any sense. This way the final signal would display the correct aspect. But using the invisible signals along the line seems to be working for now.
