Signal aspect goes dark

Hi;
I'm using the Safetran Clight 08 interlocking signals by Norfolksouthern37, and have noticed that sometimes when I "fly" to a signal's location during a driving session, the middle aspect is dark, instead of a green flashing for limited clear indication.

If I throw the junction lever and back again, the aspect comes back on.

This appears to be an issue with either Trainz (TS2010_SP3), or my computer. I don't think there is anything in the signal script that could cause this.

Has anyone else had this happen with any signals?

Thanks

nobody else has signals like that, so id say no. they probably dont do this anymore. sometimes an aspect would reach a signal twice and it would cancel itself. i dont know how else to better explain it, but i think i took care of it.

Are you telling me that there is an update for the Safetrans I am using?
Last I checked the JR site, I had the latest versions.

there is an update, the smart signals, but they wont be out until TS12
TS12? Do you really believe there will be a TS12? Only way I would go for another Trainz upgrade is if I can upgrade my system first. Looking to go Intel i7 Quad core, on a mobo that can support at least 8gigs DDr3 1600,and probably a set of Raptor drives configured as RAID 0 or Raid 10 if I can afford the 4 drives.

I've seen this too with the Search Light signals as well. Sometimes they take a second or two to com on. Weird. I think it has something to do with the way the program handles things after the patches because this never happened before.

yes i do.

i have gone a few versions past the signals at the site which are for ts04. i have not noticed any of these problems on the newer versions so i think i have taken care of this with the 2009+ signals. for the ones that are not new signal types, they will obsolete the old versions.

Same here. Never happened until SP3 (TS2010)

Unfortunately, I do not plan to upgrade to any newer version of TS, unless there is a major overhaul of the code, and I upgrade my own system. It would be a complete waste for me, on this single core P4.
