Side db program question.

Good day all,

In a pc I had that died, I used a program that worked with TS12 and allowed me to build and design consists using vehicles that I had iinstalled.
The beauty of the program is I could highlight a commodity, and it would return to me a list of cars I had that were configured to carry it. Huge help.
Now I'm looking for it again, but for the life of me I cant recall the name.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Thanks.

Hi dstelley

Unfortunately SCS2013 can't work with TANE because of the repeated changes made to the map file structure. When TANE was first released I did find that SCS2013 sessions created in TS12 would run in TANE as long as the route was identical in both TS12 and TANE. There have been further changes to file structure since then and I haven't tried it recently.

I was a beta tester for SCS2013 and it is no longer being worked on as far as I'm aware which is a shame as an awful lot of work went into it and I used it almost exclusively in TS12 before TANE came out. It allowed me to do things with AI that either couldn't be done or were too difficult to do with ordinary commands.

I still fire TS12 up occasionally and spend a few hours with SCS2013 just to keep my hand in but these days I find that rules and driver commands created by "pguy" (Enhanced Interlocking Towers and Mission Codes) and "trev999" (conditional commands among many others) go a long way to allowing me to emulate what I could do with SCS2013.

Regards

Brian
