Shell cab, does 2009 or 2010 support it?

Hello,

I've been asking in the trainzdev forum about this but that forum over there is pretty much dead so I wanted to know if anyone over here knows about this.

Does the shell cab technique works with latest version of 2009 (doesn't work with sp2) or with current version of 2010 ??

I've been waiting for ages to have this one fixed but it doesn't seem to be happening.

As far as I am aware the lighting in shell cabs is still broken. I raised defects via TrainsDev during the TS2009 beta and after GA as have other people. I have also raised the problem via the helpdesk. Nada, zip, nothing, the silence from Auran has been deafening. From this I take it they have no intention of fixing it.

Is this why you get the light flickering in some of Paul Hobbs' TC3 cabs in TS2009?
