Shadows and darkness on Content

I downloaded some rolling stock and dependencies from Jointedrail, but since I downloaded them, some of the rolling stock and locomotives, as well as the area around the track, have added darkness and shadows. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please let me know. Thanks.

The rolling stock, locomotives and area around the track are a lot darker than normal after I downloaded the dependencies.

I finally fixed the problem. I just had to switch from OpenGL to DirectX in the options panel.
