Serious Crashing Problems

I have owned trainz 2009 for about 2 weeks. While I installed it I did not have a video card in my computer. Trainz ran fine after I installed it. When I did install the video card and install the drivers for it Trainz began to crash. It would crash in the middle of game play, for example when a train would go into a portal or run at top speed. Could it be that when I installed my video card it caused these problems? Would it fix the problem if I was to re-install Trainz 2009?

Please reply if you have any suggestions or solutions.

Thank you, Shawn.

What kind of video card did you get and which drivers are you using?

What are your computer specs?

Are you running in D3D or OpenGL?

Have you using downloaded content?

I trust you had on main board video at first. Switching to a video card can be tricky. Maybe a BIOS thing? Maybe not all of the old driver was removed?
I know swtching between ATI and NVidea cards can be difficult if old driver and I supose it's registery part is not completly removed. No personal experience. Just what I have read here.
