Serial Number Help

I have trainz 2006. I had the Content Manager working fine downloading perfect. But a computer problem accured forcing me to uninstall it. So when i reloaded it i had to reregister but it said the serial number was already registered. So i now can download content.

Wht do i do so i can get new contect to download.

As you are already registered with AURAN, there is no need to reregister. All that is needed is to reenter your user name and other details into CMP and wherever else this is needed in TRS 06.

What do I do to find out the user name and password i registered it with? I had to get a new unser name and password but I forgot the last one i had when i reloaded the game. Do i turn to helpdesk to ask the username and password that i orginally registered the game to?

I'm having this problem too. I havn't played TRS2006 since.. 2007.
and the forum says You last visited: January 1st, 1970.

I put my username and password into cmp. obviously works because I managed to get into the forum and Planet Auran.

If I can't get this going I'll just have to wait for TRS2009 for dlc.

New computer

I am about to get a new computer and I was going to reinstall the Complete Trainz on the new system. Am I going to have a problem with registration and if so do I need to buy another copy of Trainz Complete.
Just wondering if anyone has run into a problem similar to this lately.

It seems to be really odd. after a while of having CMP running and browsing the Download Station it fixes itself.

I've had no problems uninstalling & re-installing 2004 & 2006.

The registration process has to be completed logically:-

1) on installation (or indeed re-installation) the install program will request you to enter the CD-Key (the long one).
This verifies that you have a valid product.

2) When you first register with Planet Auran, you need to enter this CD-Key so that your username is linked with this CD-Key

3) Whenever you connect to the DLS, the systems check that you have a registered copy of Trainz. This is carried out by using your username ("Stew2000") plus your password to planet Auran. Normally you will enter this in the CMP (for 2006), DLH (2004) etc., so that you don't have to type it every time.

4) If you are logged into this forum, use the "profile" button at the top - this should show your profile. If you then use the "edit password" option, the full password is displayed (instaed of "******"). Cancel from this and you now know your password to enter into the CMP.

Am looking forward to running on a faster computer and would buy Trainz Complete if needed again, sounds like I will not have to. Appreciate the info and will reinstall.
