It's my understanding that Siemens is considered reliable and generally held in high regard over in Europe. If that is indeed the case, then why has their North American equipment been so problematic?

Lack of understanding how the equipment works by the maintenance crews, perhaps?

I saw that with a Mitsubishi truck my brother bought. It was a nice small truck but the dealer could never maintain it properly.

American equipment is not assembled and maintained in Europe.
