Searching using ContentManager

I have Trainz 2009 and when I search using ContentManager it does not seem to work.

In the middle left under Search I click Clear, enter es44 and then click Apply. Only one item is found, ES44AC Horn 1-2011.

There must be more found for es44. What am I doing wrong when searching?

Heya Jeff! Nope, I get the same thing in TS2010 CM. Not sure what an ES44 is (I'm an elderly geezer who likes GP9s and Alco RS-11s) but "dash 9" turns up some Dash 9-44s.

It's a GE Evolution Series 4400 hp locomotive. Jointed Rail have some in the store (payware). Leadfoot866 has some skinned for the AWVR at http://blawnoxlocomotiveworks.blogspot.com/. I also have one by sporbust that probably came from his old site, though I'm not sure on that one. There are probably more, but those are the one's I know about.

I just checked WCT (http://esporbust.com/trs-2006-locos.html) and the ES44ACs are on the new site as well.

Heya Jim!

An ES44 is a locomotive by GE, http://www.getransportation.com/rail/rail-products/locomotives/evolutionr-series-locomotive.html

I tried some other searches and the ContentManager appears to function as intended. I was expecting that there would be some freeware locomotives of this model.

Jointed Rail does have some payware models which I may try, http://jointedrail.com/index.php?pa...tegory_id=13&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=544

I had thought that all content for Trainz was distributed through ContentManager. I don't know how to add content from another source. Looks like it is time to read the documentation for Trainz. I know how Train Simulator works but Trainz is quite different.

If not downloading from the DLS you may wish to download from where ever and place the asset into a folder on your PC. You may then use "Import content" or "Import CDP" found in the Content Manager under "File" to bring them into CM.

In TS2010, ES44 in the Search window returns:
BNSF ES44AC,<kuid2:113556:331129:1>
CP ES44AC,<kuid2:113556:331114:1>
