Thanks... I'll check them outSome of Pencil42's rolling stock is similar. It is standard gauge but you can swap out the bogies.
I wasn't sure where to put this. Anyone know of any nice 3ft shorty coaches and/or combines? Thanks in advance!
It seems any interest in this type of thing is rapidly dwindling.

Yeah, thanks. I have all of Trainboi's stuff. VERY nice content, but I was hoping to find something even shorter. You might say almost "whimsical" short. Just my little niche in the hobby I guess. When it comes to model railroading, Malcum Furlow was my hero. He always teetered on the edge of outragous. In fact, a little sway back on the coaches woul be great.Trainboi1 has some small coaches and baggage cars too. They might be too new for what you want though. But nice stuff for TRS19. He is kind of the only active creator making NG36 stuff these days. Here is a link to his website.

Thanks, yeah... I'm still in contact with Rich and use most of his stuff. He still has the same interest in that type of railroading but has moved on to "hands-on" modeling. It's amazing how Trainz has transformed since those days. That type of rr'ing with todays technology would be the prefect marriage for my interest.Narrowgauge and Slugmasher made some off beat backwoods rolling stock many years ago but both of them have retired from Trainz. @HiBaller might know what is out there if you DM him.
Perfect John! Thanks... Now I just need to marry them to a set of 3ft trucks...Hopefully Archbar! This might work for you.

I happened upon these while looking for something as I was populating a driving session.
Well, That didn't work out as planned. These are standard gauge so it's not as simple as plugging in NG trucks. Due to the height difference, most NG trucks leave a wide gap between the bolster and the car, while pushing the wheels into to tracks. These are Ben Dorsey's cars. HIS 3ft trucks work best, but still leave a large gap between the trucks and car body. Too bad... These cry out to be narrow gauge.Perfect John! Thanks... You can adjust the height of the cars by editing the config file by adding the "position" tag in the mesh field in asterisks. It moves x/y/z position. Setting the Z position to -0.1 ~ -0.15 will lower the main mesh so the coupler height should work roughly to NG rolling stock. You may need to also readjust the height of whatever bogies you want to use. Just add the same tag and adjust the Z height up to whatever works so the bogey looks like it is sitting on the rails correctlyWell, That didn't work out as planned. Great! I'll have to play with that. I figured I was stuck with the height without the mesh. You can adjust the height of the cars by adding the "position" tag in the mesh in asterisks. Question about adjusting the trucks... I'm thinking I'd have to clone the trucks and dedicate them to the particular car?You can adjust the height of the cars by editing the config file by adding the "position" tag in the mesh field in asterisks. Well, I did clone the truck and renamed it unique to these cars. After a little fiddling with the coach down .2 and trucks up .2 seemed to hit the nail on the head! Thanks for the tip. "Teach a man to fish, and he can feed himself!"Great! I'll have to play with that. I figured I was stuck with the height without the mesh.
