These should be up sometime this week.

These should be better than the SD90MAC-H's I released earlier. I was able to figure out what the light lines bordering some of the door locks came from and eliminated them. I was also able to do a better job of making the locks blend into the background than before. The last four raised doors on the left side are now mesh, rather than bump maps, which seems to look much better.

The SD90-H's will be getting an update to take all of these and a few other minor improvements into account as soon as I can get the time.

how dose ^^^ always manage to post before me and say what I was going to say? anyways they look great, just as I started working on a new layout too...Ironic:hehe: :hehe:

6900, have you planned on making other locomotives? You are doing a good job on those SD90s.

Once I get the 90-H's updated, I'm going to try and do a CP version of the 9043, then an SD80. I'm not 100% sure where I'm going after that. I may try and do a cab for these, since they all use a DD40X cab.

I've thought of a few different directions I might go after this, but it probably depends on what mood I'm in at the time. They could be:

SD90MAC-H2
8-40CW
DD40X (High Poly)
C636/630

Then there is the retexture of my old U50c I'd like to do.

And it could be none of those, by the time I get to that point it could be a while.

These two versions will probably be released from the preview area in a day or two, I would guess.

Thats cool, I vote for the 8-40cw, we need one bad.

That's probably the leading candidate, mainly because the truck from my late model C36-7 is nearly identical to a Dash-8 truck, and I'd only need to make a body for it. I'll probably be tired of SD90's when I get to that point, so the H-2 may have to wait a little.

6900 If your interested...I would really like to see you make an SD70MAC, that would fit well behind the SD9043. your models are superb, and look the best I've seen in a while.

Yeah about that...lol I look back and wow, the back of my engine seems to be clipping into the traincar behind me, but then when I look at it in the 2nd view, it's fine...really threw me off before I realized that it was just the DD40AX cab lol...

Thanks. But I don't think I'll be doing an SD70MAC. That's one of the ones Phil C makes, and he helped me a lot with my first one (the U50c). If he hadn't helped me get that one on the rails I probably would have given up. I don't want to mess up his market share releasing free ones to compete with his.

Also, on that DD40AX cab, I would like to do something about that, I have some pretty decent pictures of the interior. The only thing I'm not sure of is what is supposed to appear in the display console in front of the engineer. I have a feeling a lot of the info that appears on dials in the other engines appears there in this one, but I have no idea what it looks like when it's on. The pictures I have almost all have it off, except for one I think, but its blurry and impossible to read. I probably have decent enough photos to make the rest of it though.

As far as a TRS2004 version, that won't happen. These started as TRS2004 content, but I had problems with trucks disappearing and the fans not spinning. Loading them in TRS2006 was sort of a last resort thing. I bought it and hadn't installed it in months, and finally said "what the hell" and installed it. Immediately all the problems disappeared, so it will have to stay TRS2006. It won't work otherwise. Had that not worked, I probably would have given up on them and they would never have been released at all.

I just released these from the preview area a short time ago, so it shouldn't be too long now. They both use the SD90MAC-H trucks, engine file and hornsound. So it should download those as dependencies, if you don't already have them.
