"screenshots" forum

This thread may be in th wrong section. Feel free to move it if it is. I can post in every forum except the screenshots forum. Has anybody else had this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

This is the message that I get:


"you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

Hm. I'd check the Caps Lock, as usual, then if that doesn't work, contact the HelpDesk. It's usually a slow response time, but it's better than nothing.

You need an actual registered copy of Trainz/TRS/TS.

The space near the right hand side of your name is completely devoid of showing a registered version. Look at Steve's on my own profile... it shows what we have registered on the red coloured timeline.

It's just a checkpoint to prevent users with pirated versions gaining full access to everything (DLS especially) and also to assist in preventing disruptive so-and-so's from posting here, who have absolutely no involvement in the game.
 
Yes. There is a Serial Number button at the top of this page, just click that, and enter your Trainz serial number (a.k.a. CD/DVD key). You will now have Trainz registered. ;)

Also, I do not see why you would need to have two seperate accounts. :confused: Just use the same one for the forum and Trainz. ;)

Thanks, I will try that. But, my other account will not log into the forums. :o

That is odd. The forum should be able to recognize your Planet Auran username and password. Are you sure that you are entering it correctly? Use precisely the same username and password that you use to access the DLS.

If you still can not get in, you may want to report it to the Helpdesk.

One more question before I get it going:
How do I take off one of my serial numbers on my other account, and then put it on here?
 
Whoops, that must be the one thing that I forgot. :o :o

Once a Trainz serial number is registered to your account, it is permanently and forever accosiated with that account, and you can never register it with an other account.

Again, you should contact the Helpdesk about not being able to log in to the forums. There is a Helpdesk button at the top of the page, on the same toolbar/row as the Serial Number button.
