screenshots for the weekly newsletters

how does one submit screenshot(s) to be included in the periodic newsletters? (do understand about a selection process of course)

so only thing have to do is to reply to the thread and include the screenshot in the reply by inserting it as image right?

Theres a sticky on the screenshot forum if ur new to posting screenshots. Fairly straightforward, find a hosting site, copy the forum link given to you after the upload into the reply box here, and ur pic will show. But yes, you have to win to get in the newsletter

That's why I've never had a screenshot in the newsletter!

lemme try to continue to figure this out...

so one has to place the image on a public site with a fixed url to it, and then the newsletter will have the url of the image and not the image itself embedded within in some way...

hmmm... that seems a lot to have to go through just for this...

ps: yes certainly of course one has to be selected as the winner...

Forget about what the newsletter has or does not have. Thats their problem / challange. They might simply copy it (and probably will).

Till that time, you have to host your image somewhere, like everyone else. Loads has been written about that already, so just go read and follow easy instructions.
If you are desperate to get into the newsletter, you better start winning those weekly competitions .
