Screenshot will not attach to Route

Well folks I am baffled... My Trainz2019 will not attach a screen shot to my route. I have done it before and had success however now I can't get the program to give me a picture to put on my route. It just gives me a white screen. I guess my Dementia is catching up with me. I have what I think is a nice little route that I would like to post , but without a pic its kind of fruitless to post.

It's a bug that we've dealt with for years, so no it's not your dementia.

There's a workaround for this requiring a bit of asset surgery performed in Content Manager.

You open up the asset for editing using Show in Explorer to get the name of the screenshot.

Edit the config.txt file thumbnails container and place in the name of your screenshot.
Save the config.txt file
Close Notepad.
Submit the asset.

Is the name the username? The problem is that I have tried adding a picture several times Sooo I have a few files.

Where it says image "thumbnail.jpg" at the bottom, you can write the name of your image over where it says "thumbnail" so it could read, for example "new_name.jpg".

You're welcome. You are having this same issue with other routes too ?
I'd think that as long as the " screenshot.jpg" name on the pic matches the name exactly on the config file, it should work on your other routes as well.......I hope.

Are you wanting to create a thumbnail, or the picture that displays when you select the route in the listings?

That's not the route. That's a session at best.

... though in case of a "saved game" it might simply be the main session.

Yes Forester I am trying to make a thunbnail and picture for display in my listing of routes. I have no problem with screenshots for review and display. Just the route I'm wanting to submit. Also I have had a few 3rd party Kuid 886299.100119 and kuid 2.87135.6501.1 that work fine but no display pic.

The reason I ask is that a route like <kuid2:515942:100004:1> 1930s Cornish Mainline and Branches - Truro to Penzance appears to use a different image for the thumbnail and the image when you select it. The thumbnail has summer trees, while the larger image has winter trees (otherwise they look identical, down to the train it shows). I notice it has three images besides the thumbnail, and the config.txt file has this below, but I don't know how it works:

Yep! I know what you mean. Well I submitted my new route this morning so in a day or so we should see if the route comes through with a thumbnail. look for it ' New Jersey Indiana and Illinois'. I hope folks like it.

Well I posted my route. This is the second one I posted and still not sure what I am doing. It's up there for downloading hope ya'll enjoy. When I looked it up the thunbnail is there but now I see no description. Please tell me I'm not nuts.
