Can I please ask why the results for this and some other screenshot competitions have not been published?

We don’t seem to get an announcement of the top three winners these days. Is there a reason for this?

The vote thread now just fades away and gets lost. I know the scores are updated regularly, but there is no, “And the winner is etc...” as there used to be.

A reprint of the winning entries is not a big “prize”, but it does provide a small reward for the effort put in by the entrants. It is also a good way of seeing, and comparing, the top three screenshots placed all together without having to trawl back through the thread (where you can’t see them side by side in winning order anyway). It also neatly seals off the thread, just as the next competition starts.

Many of us give up a good deal of time to create and put in an entry, and a reprint of the wining images at the end of the votes thread is appreciated. It is also an opportunity for the winners to give their thanks to all those who took time out to review the shots and cast votes.

Not too much to ask for is it?

Thanks for your nice response. I'm not looking for sympathy though! It's just my sense of fair play on behalf of all contributors.

You need to read my post #15 at the bottom of page 1 to get the context of what I'm trying to say.
