Six-axle polish locos SU45 with one car. It was a real situation that had place on Chojnice - Szczecinek route.

You only need one locomotive to pull one car. Not two giant ones creating up to 9000HP for one car.

Two SU45 diesels, 1650hp each, one of them offline transported from A to B together with a 38t-heavy 1-car passenger train - powered (that's hilarious) by a heavy universal diesel...
