Screenshot of The Week: January 25 to February 1 2015 (Class Leaders)

My 3 votes are...

1 S301 - Great locomotive, fits the theme perfectly.
2 CaptainKman - Nice use of the first ever locomotive that was ever built.
3 Exile499 - The Talyllyn Railway is a brilliant railway to have 2 class leaders.

My votes:

judahGRice (great composition!)
Nikikta1988 (love the color processing!)
Flyboy559 (nice composition here too;)

Votes (favourite first)

mezzoprezzo - Absolute pastoral perfection & perfection of composition - look at that depth in the landscape!
benjaminw - BR ex GWR steam - beautiful. However, I'm unsure of the coaches. They're not early BR nor are they BR restored GWR colours for WR. Is it supposed to be a railtour which would usually use restored GWR or MK1's? Out of interest, what's the route you used?
generalman - Nice composition!

Special mention

captainkman - Certainly takes 'Class Leaders' right back to 'Founding Fathers'. I have a suggestion though, close shots need hi-res ground textures in the foreground, especially if background is a bit weak.

I guess it is supposed to be a railtour, I just thought the coaches looked good!:hehe:
The route is called Cootes Lane MPD by lord-claud-hamilton,<kuid:254397:106742>. But I edited it because there were some assets that apparently don't exist anymore.

Fantastic turnout this week, both entries and votes. Thanks everyone and congratulations to Casper and Levi for their creative submissions!

Hello Peter,

Thank you very much for the constructive comment. :)

I basically took an existing route and slapped plateway track on it. :p

I'll try harder in the future; I got really lazy with this entry. :hehe:

Kieran.
