screen-switching in Driver between locs performs very slow

Hi,
Since I have upgraded my Tane-software up to Hotfix4 (from Build 78667), something annoying is happening.
When I switch, in Driver-Mode, from one loc to another loc (using the pop-up left-bottom-switch on my screen), the new screen appears/fills very slow: the loc itself shows immediately, then the track appears, and finally the scenery.
It takes about 3-4 seconds to get everything there. Concerning my PC, no hardware or software changes did occur.
What is the reason of this slow screenchange, and what can I do about it ?

I too find it quite a bit slower than 82848 to render track and scenery.
There is also freeze when issuing an order to a driver while in AI mode.
The LOD does seem better and smoother but still lots of things still need fixing.
