Screen Split

Whenever Trainz is in fullscreen mode, there is a very annoying screen split. What I mean by this is that about 2-4 inches from the left edge of my monitor, the image starts again from the left. Even the cursor is included in this annoying behavior. Here is a representative picture: (I made this from a pic I found on Railpictures)

How do I fix this and what is happening here?

Without any further information, I'd say your screen resolution doesn't match what you have set up for Trainz. OR, some sort of tiling is present. Not being familiar with Mac's, I couldn't tell you.

I looked into it further and did different tests, and I got a very annoying result. In windowed mode the screen is fine, but I can't see the bottom part of the screen because the window is too tall and won't fit on my monitor. In fullscreen the split is still there. So I guess it's no Trainz for me until I can get this working again.

Set the game to Fullscreen again.

Check the aspect ratio setting. I have a 1920x1080 monitor so the aspect ratio of that is 16:9. Set the aspect ratio instead of leaving it on Autodetect.

Also check your computer's settings to ensure your monitor is running at its highest native resolution. Then make sure Trainz is set to the same resolution.

I set the game to Fullscreen after I tried it in windowed. I think my monitor has an aspect ratio of 1.25:1, or 5:4. I have no idea how to check the native resolution or how to set the aspect ratio. Also, my monitor goes black and then turns back on every so often, so I think this problem is just that I have an old monitor. I am still open to help though as my guess could be wrong.
I just solved the problem. I changed it to a different resolution (1280x768) and for some reason it fixed it. It didn't noticeably change the way the screen looks, so I think I solved my problem. Thanks for trying to help me.
