Scrap Locomotives?

Does anybody know if there are any scrap or "dead" locomotives available for trainz? Looking for something like a steam engine that looks like it was forgotten about that I can push/pull around a yard or down a route or something. Prefer US locomotives, as I'm from the US, I don't really run foreign routes.

Appreciate anything you guys can give me!

I think you can convert a locomotive to a train-car type by changing things in the config.txt file for the loco. I've done that to convert an old steam engine and trolley car into scenery items for a museum and tourist line I built. When they became scenery items, I had to also do the same with the bogies so I could place them on the tracks I setup. It was a matter then of fiddling to get them back together again since the bogies were no longer attached directly to the trolley or steam locomotive. In both cases, I removed all the extra stuff from them such as engine specs, etc. In your case, however, you'll have to leave an engine spec but change it to something else for a train car.

Other than this, I'm not much more help. I'm sure someone else will wander by and have a better answer, I hope.

There are 2 that I know of, and I think a third one might be floating around. The 2 that I know of are American, one is a 4-8-2, its one of Ben Neal's USRA locos, I was just looking at it last night. This one honestly kinda looks like a publicity stunt, as it still has its Company Paint (Mopac), and the textures were just "Painted" a slightly convincing shade of Rust.

The other I believe was also a 4-8-2, but I haven't seen it in awhile. I'll see if I can't track it down tonight when I get home from work. IIRC it was a bit more convincing.

The final one was a British 4 or 2-6-2 IIRC, but I haven't seen this one in an even greater length of time. Again, I'll see if I have either of these last two later tonight.

I downloaded this one today, its along the lines of what I am looking for and would work but for whatever reason it gives me a script error (redbug) with the tender, therefore I can not use it, as it forces the session into DDC mode, and I play with the "realistic" mode.
