Interesting Name Ferrous. Sounds like something you would find downsouth! Love the shot.
Cheers.

This would make a lot more work for Michael  but I have a suggestion. Since there are so many entries and so many good shots, would it be possible in this week's (or in a future week's competition) to have a second place and third place winner as well? Maybe each person would vote for 3 shots with each shot getting one point or a scheme where the first place person got 2 points, the second 1 point and the third 1/2 a point (as an example). I don't want to overwhelm poor Michael or make it confusing but I just think that there are too many great shots to choose from and plus, there are some great creators here who are always going to win it seems! :hehe: Further we just had the olympics and all. :o

Just my two cents for the day. Keep up the great shots all! I know I'll have a hard time voting for one (let alone 3 if it were so) shot this week.

To the thread starter about the date
You start that this competition will end on the 29/08/2008. You should put the time zone of the date (or +/-GMT). Also it might be better to use the three-letter abbreviation for the month, as 6/8/YY also means 8/6/YY.

NO QUOTING OF PICTURE
Now for my picture, although it was taken a few years ago.
