Saving trackmark sequences?

Is it possible to save trackmark sequences in Trainz2006 for future use, rather than having to re-enter it every time?

Do you mean a list of driver commands? You can set them up and save them in Driver Setup. I have all of my trains enter from portals and have the commands saved that way.

What do you mean by sequences. Trackmark names are stored with the map when saved. If you are setting up a route for trains to follow then they are saved in the session. Do a session and set up all the commands, rules etc like the ATLS system, then save as session setup. Next time you open this session all will be setup for you, add trains and save as a different session name say commuter run. The original setup session will still be there to use next time.

You might be interested in the schedule library rule, and the copy commands driver command. You can use them to save several sequences of driver commands and use them whenever you like during a driver session.

Will what you suggest allow me to create a set of "Trips" consisting of different sets of trackmarks, then apply those Trips to any train? For example, would I be able to specify Train 1/Trip B, Train 2/Trip A, etc.?

It would be like creating a flight plan from, say, New York to Chicago, in Flight Simulator, saving it as "NY-Chicago," then applying it to another aircraft in a later session.

If it can be done, please be more specific in explaining how. Your replies helped me see how to add driver commands in Edit Session/Schedule Rule and Edit Session/Driver Setup. But I would like to be able to apply any set of trackmarks to any train. Or doesn't Trainz2006 allow this?

Thank you all for your replies.

In the schedule Library rule you give a name to the first schedule then place all the driver commands for that section of the route you want it to take. This includes all industry or stations plus trackmarks. (Make sure you have the drive via or drive to trackmark commands ticked in the driver command rule)
Select the next/add schedule give it another name etc etc.
One of the driver commands is copy commands from. Place this in your selected train, even ones created in a portal, and you will get a second menu appear with amend or insert. Highlight one and another screen appears which you select to copy from another train or from the library. Pick Library and you get a list of all the routes you put into it. When AI gets this command he will then follow the route in the library.
