Saving sessions

i finally have my route ready to go and so i work it for awhile and save it. when i go back and load the save it won't let me use AI drivers. it will not let me send them anywhere. manual control is fine. my question is why can't i use the AI drivers? they were working fine when i saved. any help would be great. also when i load the save it shows the steam controls only and i don't even have any. i found the control to switch to simple controls but the screen for them doesn't come up.

I have Trainz for Mac so I hope this will help you...

The controls won't show up unless a driver is assigned to the consist.

To make a list of drivers, go to the Main Menu button and choose "Edit Session". This will bring up a list of options which includes "Driver Setup".

Clicking this will allow you to assign a number of drivers to your session.

Once back in the session, you can assign the drivers you chose to the consists.

You need to check the session settings.

Also note that if you modify the route between saving in Driver and reloading, the Driver save is null and void.

i already have drivers assigned to all my locos. i do not change anything i just save and then load save and AI will not work and the select train control mode will not come up and the on screen help won't work. anyone know why ?

The control mode choice can only be made at the start of a session, not from a session saved in Driver.

As for the on-screen help, that's a bit odd - try using the ? button on the toolbar (this should be the rightmost icon on the lefthand side of the screen)
