Saving helpful threads/posts

Those interesting helpful replies and threads. How do I save these for latter viewing without having to search a zillion posts for that single item of interest?

If browsing in IE the little cog icon (Tools) in the top RH corner includes an option to save the page as a local file. Or you could copy the text into a Word or similar document.

There is or was a browser add-on that saves pages to pdf, think I lost it with FF57 haven't bothered looking for a replacement yet.

I just copy the text and save to a text file for later reference. I have an N3V folder with a Tech-info subfolder where I keep How-to information in. This comes in handy on many an occasion when doing stuff.

The Tech-info folder also has bits and pieces of tags and containers for such things as track parameters, a sample mesh-table, and a sample thumbnail container.

On the same vein, I also have a "toolbox" folder where I have bits and pieces of things such as the more commonly missing textures such as black.tga with its related texture.txt, the generic chrome environment texture, various corona colors, and so many others.

When I have a faulty asset requiring these textures, I check my toolbox, copy and then paste them into the asset. It saves a lot of time when doing lots of repairs.

Thanks

Thanks for the thoughtful response. Over the last month I have read scores of threads and your remarks are always precise and to the point. This one was particularly so therefore I finally have sent a Thank you.
