Santa Maria Valley - Updated Layout

I've uploaded SMVRR 2006, a revised and updated version of my previous prototypical layout. The SMVRR is a short line freight route in the Central Coast area of California. It runs from Santa Maria to Guadalupe where it joins with the Union Pacific yard. I've included a short stretch of the UP line, the UP yard, all SMVRR trackage including the Santa Maria yard and the yard at the Union Sugar Co. The route is for the SMVRR about 25 years ago when most of its track was still being used. Its main businesses were hauling sugar beets to the sugar factory and oil products from the Unocal refinery. Today the main business is agricultural products. I've included about 25 actual industries and their products. This is a great chance to try to run a real railway.

There are a few missing assets which are no longer on the download station. They are minor and won't affect operation, the only thing you may need is IronPenguin's Tanker Filling Rack (kuid 54718:51200) - it's available at TrainLuvr as piperack.exe.

Hi I just downloaded both the 2006 you have posted, but there are about 9 kuids missing also when I went to surveyor to open it, it said there is no map so I could not open it I'm afraid. If you have any comments that will help me out please let me know.
Thanks
PJ

Hi:
As I said above, some assets were removed from the download station after I started this project. I left them in the layout since a lot of people already have them installed. They shouldn't cause any problems.

I tried downloading the layout myself and had no problem opening it. It was made with TRS 2006 - is that what you're running? I don't know if it will work with earlier Trainz versions.

Yeah I'm running TRS 2006 so don't know what the problem is, I'll uninstall and reinstall and see if thats does the trick

Do you have service pack 1 installed?

If you haven't I think you need to if it was made with sp1.

Matthew.

No I don't have it installed so that could be the problem, I'm just about to change systems to an upgraded machine so I'll install it then from " just Flights website as I have build 2773, thanks for the info
