Sandpit Extractor

I see the Sandpit Extractor 458053:100771 on the DLS but when i download it it says its not on the DLS.

Wait a day. The item is most likely up there but Content Manager isn't synched with the DLS yet. This happens off and on.

The DLS and Content Manager both show it as available but neither can download it.

Half the time the download station doesn't know what's on the download station, no surprise content mangler has so many problems. :hehe: Just now tried that one, using the new "white pages" rather than the old black pages, http://dls.trainzportal.com/index.php
Searched for "sandpit extractor", clicked on the Download Details button. In the next window I clicked on the Download FTP button. That saved the CDP to desktop, next I opened content manager and imported same, got a missing dependency unknown KUID;

Unknown Location: <kuid:458053:101692>

Which is the same author, so possibly the reason the sandpit is failing in the helper is because the dependency is still stuck. I uploaded a single CDP with a route, session, and assorted KUID2 replacements last Friday, bits and pieces appeared on the DLS Monday, but some stuff is still stuck in the pipeline so I would suggest waiting a day or two for whatever the dependency for that sandpit extractor is.

If i was the author/creator i think i would be a little bit upset.

Depends on your perspective, if you were uploading stuff two years ago you consider the OCCASIONAL glitch or logjam to be a drastic improvement. They've been working on the DLS and it is getting better, can't ask for more than that.
