San Francisco Cable Car.

Can it be done using Trainz?

And if so, what would be an allowable poly count for such a model?

Don't mind this post.
I found the cable car already made in the Download Station.
Only thing is, they are buildt for the 2004 build for Trainz.
Any idea if they will work on 2009?

There are two cable cars on the DLS and they work in TC3. There is also a TC3 route.
- Cable Car - California & Cable Car - Powell.

They both work on Ts2009 & 10, a fault with California St Car prevents it from showing up on Ts12.

If you down load the San Francisco Route I suggest that the TC3 version is the better of the two.

Download the Cable Car SF Powell 1 kuid2:108959:21:1 model and copy across both the texture sfcc21.texture.txt and the texture sfcc21.tga, into the sfcc57 body directory and commit.

OK I'll try that BUT I bet I mess it up .

Nope whatever I did ? Didn't work.
Am sure the Texture Sfcc21.txt (text Doc)& the Texture Sfcc21.Tga file 1,026Kb. both coppied over and appear in the Sfcc57 Body Dir.

But I noticed that when closing the file it didn't save the changes ? would it only require saving if the config file was changed ?
Yes I did commit It.

I was born in San Francisco and was a Shoe Shine Boy at Union Square on the corner of Geary and Powel Street when I was only 8 years old.
They used to let me ride the Cable car from where I got off the Trolly Car on Market Street to Union Square every day for free.
The Gripmen kind of looked after me. LOL

Sure would bring back memories.
