Running To Fast

i have a copy of TRS2006 which i have been having trouble with, everytime i load it it runs faster than it should (abouut double speed) just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems and if anyone can help. Pleeeease!

Which part of it runs at double speed?

If it is the driver clock, then there is an option in the surveyor rules that can change the time rate.

The whole program runs to fast, right through from the start up screen. It's driving me insane, i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times with no effect

Check your computer clock. It could be a motherboard fault, if this is not an April fool's joke!

Like he says: "Runs to fast" meaning that it is running to a place were there is no eating. But seriously, I would check with a scientist to see how it is happening, and then post the mother of all posts, so that we can all benefit of it.

Holy heaven's, sound's like your systems on "speed" !!!

If all else fails, save everything you want saved, reformat your hard disk drive, and reinstall your OPERATING SYSTEM.
Make sure you install the latest drivers for all your hardware, (particularly the latest video drivers for your video card).
Then reinstall Trainz (with SP1) if you are running 2006.
That hopefully should sort your problem out. (the problem probably lies somewhere in your current system rather than trainz). Either way it should sort things out !!!! Good luck.........

I'm fairly sure he's talking not about the clock but the game in general. i.e. menus zoom out twice as fast, the little Loading wheel rotates twice as fast (but I doubt it actually lods twice as fast :hehe, the camera mvoes twice as fast, etc.

If the Motherboard clock is wrong, then ALL system timings, including games, will be wrong.
