Running Numbers

Hi

I have a DMU which is supposed to have user defined running numbers. This doesn't seem to work. (when I input a number to the unit in surveyor, no numbers appear on the unit) I'm guessing i'm missing a script or something ?
Can anyone point me in the right direction ? I'm happy/confident enough to edit some files, if needed.
I have searched on the forum but no joy.
(Incidently, the lights are supposed to be switched off or on as well but they don't work either ?)

Try downloading again or contact him.

Tried contacting him - No joy (as yet)

Been looking at some articles etc. Like I said, the asset seems to support running numbers (one can be added in surveyor) and all the alpha numbers are present etc, so i'm thinking I need to find a way to get themto play nice ?

The site says they are individually numberable in surveyor, you selected 2012 when you ordered ?

Yip I selected 2012.
Maybe i'm getting this wrong ? I'm able to set a number in surveyor but I thought the number was meant to appear somewhere on the train ?
Is that correct ? If so, then this isn't happening ?

I would have thought it meant unit number, if so front and rear. Best wait for a reply or someone else who has the units to give info.

Check if the config has the lines-

fonts 1
fonts-path xxxxxxxxxxxx

1 and xxxxxxxxxx may be different, I don't have that unit so can't check.

I have fonts 1 but NO fonts-path !!

Any idea what fonts-path should be set at ??

fonts-path is the equivalent of asset-filename in TRS2006 and earlier. You will need to check the asset in Explorer as the fonts-path tag needs to be the part before _body or _shadow in the relevant folders.

That did the trick.
It was a missing fonts-path. Or more precisely, an incorrectly set fonts-path
