Runaway carriages

How do you stop carriages running away when uncoupling on a slope?
I am running TRS2004 build 2370.
This problem was one of the reasons I gave the original Trainz (Pre any service packs) away & went back to MSTS. I won't be going back to MSTS.
Help would be appreciated,

This only works in DCC dosent't it? If in driver, then applying the train brakes should work just as effectively.

I suspect you're right, I've only very rarely used CAB mode.

Don't forget that in DCC mode you have to click on the wagon then press 'A'.

I think you only have to do that if it's unfitted or there's no brakevan, otherwise as long as you've got the consist selected then pressing A should work.
