Please recommend from your experience Wild West payware or freeware routes that will work in TS10/12 containing assets typical to the old wild west.
Thanks
Jan.

There is some old west content available on the DLC. There used to a route, a long time ago, but I can't remember the name.

1880's Old West (206117:1078)
Devil's Creek (147684:1717) use the Kuid as the name won't work in search

I don't know about TS2012, but my "Wild Bill II" western route might work after a little fixing up.

I recently started fixing up Will Bill II for TS10 and TS12. There are 14 unknown objects, which I hope are only scenery. The route uses about 48 Low Switch Stands, kuid:118781:2810, which are fauly but are usable in TS10. It would take some effort to replace them for TS12. If I can find enough NG train cars and engines to use in q session for TS12 I might spent the time.
I am very dissapointed that Prowler's K-27 Engines are not usable at all. Any one who wants to join this project may drop me a PM on the forum of resond here.

Bill, would you allow me to upload my project for TS10 and TS12 based on your Wild West route?

Irving

I have 3 assets that you could use if you're into embellishing any routes you download.

Under my tag look for the RC Wells Fargo StageCoach, RC Crystal River Scow and RC Moonshine Still.

Wild Bill 2 was my favourite route in TRS2006 I searched the Internet and the DLS for western themed buildings. I can still use this in TRS2009 compatability mode.
I'd love to use this in TR12, there may be a chance now that the author, HiBaller, is involved.

I have imported this route (after making it workable in TS2010) in to 2012. There is one item (by Narrowgauge) which show up as not on the DLS. All other content is available on the DLS as I downloaded everything after importing just the route.

Some of the textures don't show in Surveyor (or Driver either) so they might need to be re-done, but all the other items show up fine. A couple of NG bridges are missing, but there are NG bridges built-in to 2012 to replace them with.

So, go ahead and import the route into 2012 and then let CMP find the content on the DLS.

Hi, Peter. It was 44700:38002 (I am pretty sure). I just deleted missing assets and substituted another NG bridge for it. All the rest of your content has a KUID2 number so they've been updated already.

Bill

Since I'm lazy picking up Wild Bill II I seem to have a few missing items, any suggestions?

John:

What version of Trainz are you installing WB2 into? If TS2012, all but the one I mentioned to Peter are available on the DLS.
