to better understand what i did, let me explain. i run windows 7 on my computer, never had anything wrong with it. i think it's great in most ways. anyways i've had trains on it since, oh, about a year or two. i've recently had some trouble with my computer. not thinking, i saved my documents and pictures and such, forgetting all the important files like trains. i do a wipe and restore. i get everything back up and running and then i go to install or reinstall trains. everything comes up fine except for one thing. oh crap i forgot to save my trains folder. but wait my windows vista has trains on it. then i copy the folder to a usb stick. copying is fine then run driver, for some reason my old route is there. ok, i go into surveyer and see if the orginal is there, nothing. i ask a fellow trains player for some help. i then realize that i forgot to copy over my downloads or local file to save it to usb stick. keeping in mind i did do a full database repair after i re did my computer. thank you for you help anyways guys. it's my fudge up this time. i'll just have to re download everything. tell you one thing, i do wish i can have all my downloads back. sorry for the long discussion.
