Not that the fuel trains are really news to most of us in this area - they've been running singe early this year - but it's good to see this refinery thriving and bustling with rail activity. Of particular interest is that this new facility can handle three loaded trains a day.

At just one Florida Power & Light generating station, they burn one 100 ton hopper of pulverized coal every 5 minutes, 24/7/365 ... and we can burn up 3 trains of oil per day before breakfast ... It takes more energy to refine shale oil, than it is worth on sales ... and shale oil drilling polutes the envionment, and contaminates undergorund drinking water aquifiers, forever !

Every day over 75 trains leave the Powder River Coal Basin, bound for eastern ports, exporting billion tons of US coal, on freighters, overseas.
