Resource Memory RAM

I went in C:Program Files, Auran, TRS2006, and I opened Trainzoptions. I then copied Resourcememory=2000 below the previous lines. That should've improved my gaming performance like when I view a long train to run more smoothly, but nothing happened. I saw no difference after copying and then SAVING it.

It is -ResourceMemory=2000, don't forget the hyphen and the first M in memory is capitalized.

This is not the only possible tweak, just one among several.

I should point out that the 2000 number will vary from user to user depending on how much RAM you have installed. In conrail6373's case he had 3Gb of RAM installed, and since Trainz uses a maximum of 2GB, that number made sense for him.

Ive just tried the -ResourceMemory=2000 command, man what a difference, one of the best things ive ever seen,in the way of a performance improvement. Thanks

For complete accuracy, this figure should actually be 2048, as RAM doubles in size each time: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048 etc.
