reskin problem

I thought Id have a go at reskinning a wagon to see how I got on with it. So I cloned a suitable wagon and had a look at the cs_skin file in the asset_body folder. de a couple of changes to the image - keeping the same dimentions as the original and resaved it in its original folder.
Now comes the problem. When I load in the wagon the wagon body affected by my reskin was white. when committing the file I get the following message:

Unable to load source texture 'hash-da\copytempsrcme4i11ck37\asset_body\cs-skin.convert-tex' in subst 'local'

Ok so my understanding was that so long as the file went back in its original place - and had the same file name - it should be seen but that is obviously not the case. Ive obviously missed something somewhere but I have no idea what. Can anyone shed any light on this please?
 
Ok solved. I did a 'save as' instead of just save. When I clicked the save button I had not unchecked the RLE compression button. never thought about it till after posting - sorry for wasting time :(

This is no waste of time, Antony. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Many people ask this question, and you were able to solve your problem. The best part is yiy took the time to post your results.

This by the way, is very helpful because many people do not ever post their own resolution.
