Request for a few items for EK3 Session

Hi All,

Could somebody who has them be kind enough to send two of the Sportbust engines and dependencies my way?

I'm trying to use the Endless Coal session for East Kentucky 3 but can't without Sportbust's CSX and NS SD40-2 units.

These are KUIDs 113556:277711 and 113556:858101.

Please PM me and I'll provide an email address privately.

Thank you!!
Diego

Sorry 'bout that but with the demise of WCT pretty much every session I have ever made is broken.

I have approached Frank with several hosting suggestions through Checkrail or if that is unsatisfactory I have offered to bear the full cost of keeping WCT open, but no luck.

I won't be party to encouraging the sort of unauthorised redistribution asked for in the OP plus I have been approached by several other users with the same sort of request. I have hesitated up to now hoping to resolve this matter but over the next weekend I will regretfully remove all sessions using WCT content from checkrail. I will attempt to remake what I can with locos sourced elsewhere. That should put the EK sessions back on the map 'soon', but the Clovis sessions are totally busted - afaik there is no other source of modern 6-axle freeware....

Andy :(

Thanks for trying & for the update Andy!

I presumed that it wasn't a big deal since they were freeware to begin with.

Yes thanks Andy, I am hoping to get all of your routes eventually but very limited without the sessions, I hope you can find a work around without too much work, I look forward to possible re-release soon-ish!!:o:D
Edit:
BTW Andy, what setup do you have, I have the following:

Win XP Pro
4gb DDR2 1050mhz HyperX Ram
AMD Phenom II Dual BE 3.75Ghz
Gigabyte HD 6850 OC 855/1050mhz 1Gb Video Card

But alas I can't run it at top graphics it jerks badly, I have most things midway to get it to run smoothly, any tips?:o

Pretty similar: XP, 4Gig, Intel E6300 DualCore; GTX9800 512 Mb.

I run with everything maxed except draw distance, on EK 1500 meters is plenty. Both EK3 versions run smooth as silk with fps averaging mid 20s...

Oh this is so depressing!!:(:o I tried to install Clovis Sub 1.1 route only, a few item I couldn't get but I thought I'd try installing what I had, I ended up with about 2 pages of missing dependencies so I went to the "Today" Tab and deleted them all, now I still have a stack of missing dependencies:
ClovisSub11errors1.jpg

Why is EK3 v1.1 doing in there, these are in the EK3 dependency list:
Faulty: JJS Deck Girder 46819:38129
Faulty: JJS Pratt Truss Deck 46819:38132
I don't know what is going on but it is certainly frustrating, could someone please tell me what to do??:'(
Thanks.

I think you need to do an extended database repair, you are showing missing content for tute sessions which simply is not possible since everything for them is built in. Either that or you have disabled a swag of built-in stuff.

EK3v1.1 was done specifically for Compatibility Mode, there are no 'faults' in any of the content which will stop it from working as it should in the route. Whether or not it will work in 'Native' mode is a whole other can of worms, but that was not the purpose of the route...

I restored an old backup before EK3, so I had to put that back in but at least that is done, here is the list that caused the problems before:
ClovisSubv11cdplist.jpg

This is all I could find!:o

Edit: From the Clovis Sub v1.1 web page, the link is dead!
From JointedRail:
Signals from NorfolkSouthern_37. These are on the DLS, but a couple are missing from the pack. Get the complete pack direct from Jointed Rail. Get the coronas from a text link near the top of the page, then scroll down and get the Searchlight Signal pack. These signals are revised and re-scripted since the route was built and may give problems in TRS04 - If you have problems I can offer no support.

Jointed Rail have completely re-done their website and in the process have created new page names which kill links such as mine. I have re-done the links for my TS10/12 routes but I have not yet re-done the links for the 04 routes because I am not sure if the new 'smart' signals even work in 04. I suspect not, but I have not as yet received an answer to a request to JR for confirmation. If the new scripted signals don't work in 04 then the Clovis routes will have to come down unless the DLS does in fact contain the entire original set. I don't think it does, otherwise you would not be struggling to find them...

Hi Andy,

I have downloaded EK 3 ST - SpeedTrees for T12 but the Russian Session Content links do not work but give the following error message "Error 404 : Not Found". Is it possible to re-establish the links?

Thanks in advance

LOL - now it is TrainzUP's turn to be down. Both the site and forum have been down on and off over the last few days. Until it is reliably back I can't do much, but watch this space.

My next route will have no 3rd party content - rofl - of course it will :)

Andy...

I just downloaded the EK3 ST files including the Russian people sets, if it is the same site there shouldn't be any problem.
Andy, If I install the EK 3 ST route will this effect the EK 3 route? also you mentioned fixing the EK 3 web page links, I assume this doesn't include the sessions?:o

The two versions of the EK3 route can be installed together, there is no problem doing so. The sessions for v1.1 are pretty much broken unless you have the required Sporbust locos. The SpeedTree version USA session is definitely good to go, but for the Russian session a little more patience is required...

Andy ;)

Thanks Andy, will check back in a couple of days to see if the site is back up :p

Cheers
