Replace ground texture with terrain

Is it possible to replace a ground texture with a terrain that has a height of -4.00, I have a route the I'm doing over that has a blue ground texture for to symbolize where the water would be, I want to replace this texture with a terrain that is -4.00 meters below water level so I can place the water -2.00 metes below the ground level, is this possible?

Use the Grid texture to paint over the blue. Make sure you have it set so that it lines up with the rest of the grid. Then you can drop your terrain to -4.00.

I'm a little confused on how can I make everywhere the blue texture was to the height of -4.0, I already replaced the blue texture with the grid texture now I want to make everywhere the grid texture is -4.0 below ground level.

Open the Topolgy tab, Click the Use Height tool, set the height to -4, set the sensitivity to max and the radius to something suitable, and paint over the blue areas.
