i was wondering if repairing items that are built in bc i heard that u can repairethem buit other people say itll break the game so can some1 please answer this ?:confused:

Built-in assets should not show errors. But because of the different way the assets are stored the assets can show errors if they have been opened for edit and then committed or if a database repair has been carried out and has thrown up false errors.
To sort out the first instance you need to revert the asset to original (under the edit menu). The second one can be corrected by right clicking on the asset and viewing errors, it should show no errors and the asset will then not show the red warning icon.

Hello
No asset I ever up-dated broke the game.

I like to re-texture assets.
Screenne was a built-in trz 2.4 Texaco.
Up-dated to 2.9

Most trz1.3+ scenery can be up-dated and re-textured.
Some times built-ins are very hard to up-date.
I still have trouble with splines.

Clone a built-in and experiment.

I use PEV's AssetX + scripts, PSPv8.1 and several other apps.

Clone a built-in and experiment.
