Remove tracks from bridge (see picture)??

One of the biggest differences between the various objects is how the config file is made. Of course the shape or texture of the traffic surface might also be different.

It could be defined as a rail bridge, a road bridge or a bridge without either rail or road. It could also be a fixed scenic object or a spline object.

Not sure which bridge you have in you picture but have a look in its config file. Be aware that if you make any changes there and you later upload a map using that object, other people will not see your version of the object since you are not be able to upload other people's objects. If it's your own object then there is no problem.

Remove the bridgetrack line from the config file. That will remove the road or track from the bridge. Then you can lay your own track across the bridge. As martinvk says, this is ok for your own use. If you upload the route the bridges will revert to the bridgetrack that was built in to the config.

OK, I'm not a rocket scentist when it comes to editing such files, so where do I find them, and can I change them directly in the surveyor ?? pls reply...

First necessary question: Do you have TRS2004 or 2006?
Second: Do you want to change a built-in bridge or a downloaded bridge?
Third: Do you know how to make your own kuid-file in windows-explorer?

1. 2006

2. Both (but I only want to remove the track or road, I don't care about changing the bridge itself..)

3. No

You can over-lay (hide) the track on the bridge with a road. That way the track doesn't show through and if you upload the route there won't be any "modified" content to contend with. :)
