Reintallation

Every time I start Trainz it says I must install Trainz before I can use it, yet
I can use Trainz anyway. This message is annoying. It makes me feel like ripping out my hair.:'(

Any solutions?

OK so the problem seems to be that trainz has corrupted and you will need to remove the program by the following steps below

1. click start
2. control panel
3. Add or remove programs
4. find Trs 2006 (at bottom)
5. Remove program
6. Trainz uninstaller setup will pop up and remove program
7. Restart computer
8. Reinstall trainz

If this does not help you try this way also without doing the steps above

1. put TRS 2006 CD #1 into disk drive and reinstall it
2. follow steps after that
3. restart computer

by chance are you running 2 hdd's because a few of my programd do that they think because it isnt on c drive it dont exist and want to install it again if you have a 2nd hdd make a link to the desktop this should make life easier

What version of Windows?

If you're running Vista and above, you need to install and run the program as an Administrator. This will give the program the rights to write files to your hard disk.

Drivers.
