This is the official picture/video thread of my Reading & Northern route originally built for TRS2004/2006, heavily modified, rebuilt, and expanded for Trainz 2010 (native), 2012, and beyond. :)

Updated East Mahanoy Junction (R&N reconfigured the track and put in signals a couple years ago).


Between Haucks and Hometown (Air Products plant in the extreme background).


Approaching Greenwood Lake. Don't have much of the foliage in here yet, but i like this picture.
 
Those sweeping curves are great ... I still haven't perfected lead in, and lead outs in easements my curves ... as always, your route(s) are top notch !

Passing the long abandoned Central of New Jersey "PQ" Tower.


Combined R&N/NS bridge over the Lehigh River at Glen Onoko. The bridge directly behind it is the abandoned CNJ bridge now used for automobiles to access the Glen Onoko parking lot of the Lehigh Gorge State Park (visible on left).


Southbound NS train. R&N main on the right. This location is the farthest north the route currently reaches.


Passing on the bridge. Locally famous Glen Onoko Falls is visible above the centerbeam (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0Ehzk6Ev94).


Looking down into the valley where the town of Jim Thorpe sits. Unoccupied tracks on either side of the river are both owned by the R&N.


Pulling into Packerton Yard, a former sprawling railcar repair/manufacture/classification yard for the Lehigh Valley Railroad, now a small NS/R&N interchange yard.


South end of the yard. End of R&N owned track, and southeast end of my route. Roundhouse and turntable used to exist on left.

More soon, i have to get working on finishing up the Haucks - Nesquehoning section!

Trackwork at Haucks. Originally the Reading RR and Central of New Jersey crossed here on a diamond (visible at the right), and had a small interchange yard. Today the CNJ west of here is abandoned and a newer connection track was built more recently.

I ask again (as I did on USLWs forum) if you plan to include the Tremont/Pottsville Branch at some point.

There was a guy on the USLW forums working on that half of the railroad. I believe his progress has slowed/stopped. Maybe at some point i could ask for and continue his work (it has been brought up before).

I would not have the time, nor interest to put in a significant amount of effort into that branch though, as i'm more familiar with the eastern areas of the railroad.

If i actually decide to add onto the route again in the future, i will likely extend the M&S Branch to Shenandoah/Mt. Carmel, or the Catawissa & Hazleton branch up to Hazleton/Jeddo (including the Morea Running Track).

This looks great, but I'm aftaid it will be a frame killer on my PC. I have two questions if you would be so kind as to answer.

1. Whose trees are you using?

2. What happened to the original Reading and Northern? I had it, lost it all on a disc crash and would like to have it again. Any possibilities?
