Hi all,

This should be my official post for screenshots of my upcoming NS Reading Line for 2004. Pictures will most likely be in 1024x640 or 1440x900 resolution. If you comment on the pictures, please let me know which resolution you would prefer.

And to kick things off.....i give you Fleetwood!! (cheer :p)

One of the larger towns on the Reading Line. Just finished it up tonight. That sign is part of the custom content being built for the line by our newest USTrainz "intern" ;).

The abandoned warehouse in Fleetwood.

Rolling east through Mertztown.

I forget what village this is. It might be Blandon. Also note in this shot, i hadn't yet replaced the old track with high res track.

And last for now...

CP Canal and the hump in Allentown yard (where the CR SD40-2's are sitting).

I'll post more as i get more work done. Otherwise, you can always check my current uploaded set of Trainz pictures at: http://profile.imageshack.us/user/Roon3808/

One of the best things about getting a foot of snow and ice....:)
A couple shots of some work i got done today.

trainz2007021415422517tu6.jpg

Looking south/east towards CP Oley and the city of Reading at the south end of Spring St. Yard.

trainz2007021415430521pl4.jpg

Looking the opposite direction back up into the yard. The train on the right is waiting to head southeast to Philadelphia, the yard office/tower is to the left, and the old Reading carshops are behind it.

trainz2007021415475131ph1.jpg

View from the locomotive.

trainz2007021415445865wc6.jpg

View from "Water" looking south into the yard after numerous corrections and additions have been made (compared to the yard in the released version of the Reading Line).

And last but now least...here is our glorious USTrainz founder doing a little railfanning at everyone's favorite spot :p. These are the FINAL version of the Macungie area with the final version of the station. I promise not to post any more Macungie shots ;).

Also, for all those of you that know the area, the Reading Phillies baseball stadium is done, and in the layout (i just didn't take any screenshots because it doesn't have scenery around it yet). Also, the Mertztown station is under construction as another unique building we are adding to the route (and it looks awesome so far).

Hope you liked the shots!

Ok, here is a work-in-process of Mertztown station:

All these new objects will be up on the DLS or at least the UST site (or both) soon.

Oh my, I don't know what to say, other than those shots are fantastic! Thanks a bunch for posting them, and I am waiting ever so (not) patiently for the release of this route.

Uber cool...

You nailed Macungie. Its not one of my usual hangouts, but I've been there a few times and it is right on the money.

you know, reading steam was always a showstopper.....=]

You wanna build me a T1, or maybe a K1sa? ;)

Anyway, without further delay...Emmaus!

NS 35A rounding the curve heading west into Emmaus (and doing about 10 mph so i can get decent pictures :p).

trainz2007021423104300vn5.jpg

Just about there. A railfan ready and waiting on the Fourth Street bridge.

Finally, in Run 8, about the pound the combined Hotbox/DED just past Milepost 30.

I have a couple more uploaded to Imageshack that i didn't link to here. If you want to see them, just go to: http://profile.imageshack.us/user/Roon3808

And like always, the areas in these screenshots are more often than not still not totally done, so don't mind the blank areas! :)

If this "nice" weather continues, hopefully i'll get time tomorrow to work on and post more.

Ok, latest batch.

mertztown3ik3.jpg

Final Mertztown shot, showing the new custom station

fleetwood1ada7.jpg

Final Fleetwood shot (maybe), looking west.

fleetwood1cyk0.jpg

Switch and signal at F.M. Browns grain silos, on the western edge of Fleetwood.

hump1blq6.jpg

New custom hump tower in Allentown yard (you can see how employees park along the road, walk across it, then over the raised walkway to get to the tower).

And finally....you can't have Reading Line pictures without shots of some of its famous farm fields! (also showing off some grass additions...i still have to touch up the texturing though)

Hopefully for you Reading area guys, i will post some CP Walnut/Oley/Center shots soon that i have been working on :).

Looks great Josh. You're runnin' with the big dogs now;)

Good! I like animals :p.

Ok, Temple station shots (latest custom building). The single track on the right is the Reading Line, the three tracks by the station are the Reading & Northern's Hamburg branch, which they used to run steam and RDC passenger excursions on. They don't anymore, but i have the station set up for interactive passenger operations just in case! :)

These should also be the last shots before the big train show in Allentown this weekend. If you want to see more of the line, and other USTrainz stuff, come visit Kevin and I!

Looks great! I lost interest in TRS after I lost everything in a computer crash last year, but I'll be sure to run this a lot!
